Does your neighbor know the Father
is his heart truly won
to be included with the saints
born again through His Son

was there ever time to wonder
about the souls next door
the ones who live a little farther
even if they are poor
____
from city streets to country lanes
where people always dwell
there’s good reasons they’re unhappy
they’re doomed to go to hell
____
not knowing the trouble they’re in
how serious it can be
that living a life without Christ
is sore jeopardy
____
but those who have the truth to tell
must search to do it now
because the Lord is coming back
that neighbor should know how
____
don’t hide your light from all the world
live holy close to God
be ready always with the word
wherever you may trod
____
does your neighbor know the Father
go tell him of His Son
from that you may change a sinner
the Spirit’s work be done
